Advertising Opportunities

The village hall and play area is a very popular destination:

  • Our extensive play area attracts from 100-120 unique adult visitors per day (plus children) during holidays and weekends (about half of that figures during school days).  The majority are from outside of the immediate area, with the high standard of the facilities, and its proximity to jnc 10, attracting people from Banbury, Bicester & Brackley.  The adults tend to be parents, carers or grandparents of children between the ages of 3 to 12 years old.
  • The football pavilion attracts 100 to 200 visitors most weeks throughout the season
  • The hall has many user groups including dance groups, junior youth teams etc
  • We also see considerable footfall from people using the bottle banks. (They are amongst the busiest in Cherwell District).

To generate income for the charity, we have identified 4 areas around the play area where companies and organisations interested in advertising to our very many users can locate advertising banners.  These are as follows.  (Please note: the charity is not VAT registered, and prices assume sponsors provide their own banners.  Banners can be provided at cost, price on application):

• Fence adjacent to the end of the hall facing up the car park:       This area is seen by everyone using the car park and all other facilities on site. £200.00 pa

• Fence bordering the car park and play area facing into the car park: Again seen by everyone using the facility £175.00 pa

• Reverse of that fence facing the picnic area for the play area:  Seen by parents/carers using the play area.  Adults in this area are often seated and have time to kill, making it more likely that they will scan a Q code or follow a web link from a banner to get more detail. £175.00 pa

• Fence to the rear of the play area:  This is visible from the play area and car park.  This is an area that would suit products aligned to children's activities. £150.00 pa

Our aim is not to festoon the area with banners, but to carefully choose suitable partners and display their banners in a way that allows visitors to focus on the message.  We will also ensure that the banners are kept clean and tidy.  A lot of work goes in to keeping the hall and grounds looking good, and we feel confident that the area will compliment sponsors brands.

Sponsors will also be acknowledged on our web site and in the quarterly news letter circulated to all 265 houses in the village.
